Hi, I’m Caz.

I’m running as an independent because our community deserves a representative who listens, who cares, and who knows how to get things done.

I love the Mid North Coast.


Our region is extraordinary; not just because of our beautiful coastline and stunning landscapes, but because of the strength and resilience of our community.

I’ve been lucky enough to call Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and now Port Macquarie home for the last 30 years. I’ve raised my kids and built my career and life here, and now I want to give our community the voice we deserve. 

I’m a nurse and healthcare leader.


I’ve spent my life working for people during their most vulnerable moments. I’ve provided compassionate care at the bedside, led teams through healthcare crises, and managed our hospitals through bushfires and floods.

After winning my own battle with cancer, I’ve also become a staunch advocate for cancer prevention, support and research, and  serve on the board of the NSW Cancer Council.

These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration and listening to effective leadership. It’s also taught me how to act decisively, solve problems under pressure and get things done.

We’ve been taken for granted for too long. 


Everywhere I go, I hear stories from people struggling with the same challenges: healthcare that’s out of reach, housing that is unaffordable, the ever-rising cost of groceries and energy bills, and the frustration of trying to stay connected in a region with unreliable phone and internet.

We can’t rely on the same people who created these problems to fix them.


For decades, party politicians have taken us for granted, putting their donors and party factions ahead of our community’s needs.

That is why I’m running as an independent — it’s well past timed the needs of our community were heard in Canberra. I have no party line to toe, or factions and corporate donors to please. If elected, my only focus will be on delivering for our community.

I’ll fight for better healthcare, more affordable housing, and for a fairer deal for people being ripped off by the supermarkets, banks and power companies.
