Calling all volunteers who can't make a Final Sprint in person!
Polling time will be on us before we know it, and now is the time to make sure we are election ready!
Take part in The Final Sprint workshop ONLINE. These meetings are our final big volunteer gatherings before polling begins, and they're for everyone, whether you are getting involved for the first time, or a regular in team Caz4Cowper. We will be sharing the plan for making sure we are election ready before early voting starts - which could be in just a matter of weeks!
Did you know that up to 5% of voters don’t make up their mind until they are at the polling booth?? How we prepare for polling can make a crucial difference in getting the representation that we all want for Cowper.
What to expect:
- Meet others online who are helping organise our polling booths and other activities
- Learn about the final plans for having as many conversations as possible with voters before polling starts - we will be in shopping centres, at markets, at people’s doors
- Learn everything about the “How to…” of polling - how to sign up for your shifts, what the How to Vote cards look like, how to engage voters on the day
- Meet your booth leaders and have a chance to practice an opening line that works to engage voters.
We need everyone to get us across the line and to get Caz to Canberra. Come along to find out how you can help make this happen.
