Join us for a doorknock in your local community!

This doorknock will be taking place directly after we finish our conversations and messaging workshop, Conversations That Work - RSVP here if you want to come along to this comprehensive training beforehand.

We’re getting out into the community to listen to our neighbours, and we’d love your help! Doorknocking is one of the most important ways we can hear directly from voters about what matters to them. It’s all about connecting, understanding, and sharing our vision for a future we all share.

No experience? No worries! We’ll kick things off with a training session so you feel confident and ready. The training will cover everything from what to say at the door to how to really listen and learn from the community.

Here’s what to expect:

• Meet up with the team for a briefing, tips and to be paired up with another volunteer.
• We’ll hand out maps and pair people up before we head out.
• We aim for friendly, five-minute conversations at each door, focused on listening to the concerns and hopes of residents.
• Afterward, we’ll have a debrief to share what we’ve heard and how we can use that feedback to strengthen our campaign.

After our doorknock we'll meet for a community picnic at Coronation Park, corner of Pine and Hickory Streets.

Whether you’re a first-time doorknocker or a seasoned volunteer, this is your chance to make a real impact in Cowper.

What to bring: A fully-charged phone, hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a friendly, listening ear! We’ll provide all the materials and guidance you need.
